Last weekend I got out for a little shopping trip and headed to one of my favorite stores: The Christmas Tree Shop which has a very misleading name. 80% of items in the store have nothing to do with Christmas!!!
I was looking to buy some new bath towels, beach/pool towels, a pad for my outdoor rocking chair and new curtains for the dining room which we’re remodeling. Well, I struck gold on a few things that I found.
The 2-piece chair pad set in my photo was marked down to $12.99. I was looking for a coastal print but couldn’t find one…so I went with this beach blue and white check pattern which works!
I then headed into the bath linens area and found Cannon cotton over-sized bath towels on clearance! The solid colors were $6.99 each and the prints were $7.99 each. I picked up 2 solids and 2 prints. Sadly, I couldn’t find matching washcloths, but that’s okay because I was happy with the towels!
They have a small clothing section (mainly seasonal t-shirts) and had Patriotic Tees marked down to $4.99 each. I picked up two for my hubby. He likes over-sized cheap tees to wear when working around the house. They’re perfect for that!
Regarding the dining room curtains…yup, I found some and I bought 5 pairs! I’ll show you a photo of what I selected in a week or so once I get them hung up. A beautiful coastal print in muted colors…perfect for my home decor!

I have not gone to most stores in over a year. I do have a Christmas Tree Shop fairly close by and I should check it out.
I have been to the Christmas Tree Shop when I have been on vacation to the East Coast and always found good deals. More than I could fit in my luggage coming home. Wish there was one near me.

You have some great deals. I have not had any lately. I still don’t shop much. I am in a state that the people are not fond of the vaccine and I am one of those at risk people. So I still am careful of not going shopping unless I need to. I will be glad to find deals soon.
For me to find any good deals, I’d first have to go out shopping. Haven’t been to a non-grocery store in a year and a half.
I wish we had one of these stores in my area I would have some fun in there. I love the chair cushions that you got I am so looking for some right now for our chairs on the porch and that is a great deal. I haven’t found any great deals lately.
You really hit some good deals….. Love the print and color of the chair cushions. Nothing like walking in to a store and finding great deals. After a while you look in your cart and think OMG I am buying to much. then you count of the price tags and you know you got some great deals.
