My Thoughts: I have 2 children ages 6 and 12 years of age. As a parent I’m always looking for educational toys, books, and games for my children to do while at home. We’re a family that believes in limited screen time and video games. Not only do the items have to be educational, but they have to be affordable and fun too!

My children received the Train Your Brain: Logic Games and the Train Your Brain: Math Games books and love them! We recently went on vacation which required a 6 hour drive to our destination. I packed an activity bag for the kids and both books were in it. I recommend packing pencils, markers and colored pencils to go along with them.

Princess G who is 12 was able to work on the activities by herself. Little Prince who’s 6 needed some help from time to time. The books are recommended for ages 7 and up, but at age 6 he was able to do many activities on his own. The kids were “playing school” in the backseat with my daughter being the teacher and my son the student, so she was able to help him complete some of the activities that he needed assistance on. The books entertained them for hours while on our road trip and I was thankful that I had brought them along.
