Last fall we took our kids down to the National Aquarium in Baltimore for a visit. Every year we try to visit at least a dozen aquariums, zoos and wildlife parks around the tri-state area. It’s a great educational experience for the kids and they always look forward to going. If you’re located in central Pennsylvania, the aquarium is about a 2 to 2 1/2 hour drive.
Back in October 2020 I blogged about our visit and you can re-visit that post HERE to learn more. Ever since that visit the kids have been begging to return. Well, we returned and they enjoyed this most recent visit even more. Can it get any better? It sure can!
The kids had a great time seeing all of the animal exhibits. They got to see all kinds of different fish, frogs, jellyfish, tropical birds, otters, starfish, sharks, seahorses, crabs, turtles, etc. There’s a lot to see and on this visit we took our time going through the facility and spent a little over 3 hours there.
Today I wanted to share just a few pictures with you from our most recent visit. If you’re ever going to be in the Baltimore area, we highly recommend that you visit the National Aquarium.
I always enjoy visiting aquariums and zoos. There is so much to learn and it is more fun if you see live specimens.
Visiting places like this and learning about the environment and nature are the best learning experiences. This looks like an impressive aquarium with so much to see.
I think aquariums are interesting. This is one I’d like to visit someday.
I’ve been to that aquarium. Since I live 1000 or 2000 miles from oceans I enjoy visiting aquariums.
