Last month I introduced you to the Black+Decker Ultra Lightweight Stick Vacuum which I’ve been using a LOT during my spring cleaning routine. You can check out my previous post to learn about it’s 3-in-1 versatility and how I’ve been using it as an upright and stick vacuum around my home.
Today I wanted to focus on using it as a light-weight handheld vacuum. It’s the perfect cleaning tool to get into all of the nooks and crannies around your home.
Twice a year I like to clean out all of my window tracks, spring and fall is a great time to do that. The ONLY way you can clean them out is with a handheld vacuum. It’s great at getting out all of the dust, dirt and debris. If you have any cobwebs between the screen and window it will clean those out too. I despise cobwebs!
We have stairs that lead down to our basement and stairs that lead up to our attic. The set that goes to our attic are old-style wood and very narrow. There’s no way I would ever be able to use an upright or stick vac to clean them. A handheld is perfect for that job too! A lot easier to vacuum up the dirt than to get out a broom and dust pan. Soooo much easier!
Got pets? Dogs, cats, ferrets, birds, etc.? I love using the hand-held to get pet fur off of our furniture, from around our baseboards, windowsills, etc. Why does all of that fur land on surfaces and just sit there? Ugh. Every 3-4 days I like to vacuum it up and keep it under control. You don’t need to be breathing it or wearing it on your clothes!
Our cat Romeo is quite messy when he uses his litter box. Every time he steps out of the box he shakes the litter off of his paws and directly onto my tiled floor. We try to keep it under control by sitting his litter box on a collection mat which helps but he still manages to get it tracked onto the floor around his litter box. I love my cat to pieces but I can’t stand to see litter on the floor. Well, every day I use my handy Black+Decker Ultra Lightweight Hand-Held Vacuum to clean it right up.

I do like that this is a lightweight vacuum. It is also good that it has the different attachments,
I need a light weight vacuum. I have RA and my wrists do no like using my heavy vacuum. I’ll look into getting this one.
I so want one of these vacuum cleaners. I love that it is lightweight and that one attachment is super cool to reach those hard to reach places.
This looks like such an easy way to clean around the litter box. I sweep around it everyday because the litter just seems to get everywhere. This looks so much more efficient and a good way to get all those little pieces.
