This past weekend we spent time doing our summer home maintenance projects. Every year during the month of May my husband inspects our air conditioner unit, changes the water filter in our water filtration unit, changes batteries in our smoke detectors & carbon monoxide detectors, puts something down our sewer lines to prevent clogs and those sorts of things. He has a list and does those projects seasonally just to make sure everything is ready to roll for the new season.
I took the time to clean out our medicine cabinet, restocked it and went out and purchased a new first-aid kit for our home. While I was out I stocked up on batteries for all of our flashlights and lanterns in case a summer storm rolls through and we lose power.

I always make a lost and try to follow it. Sometimes I do not finish it, but at least I am trying!
