How to Make a Tequila Sunrise Cocktail Drink

May 10, 2021 by Jenelle

Tequila Sunrise Cocktail Drink RecipeThe Tequila Sunrise is a cocktail drink that’s not only delicious, but it’s pretty to look at too. It’s popular during the warmer months of the year and at thousands of beach resorts across the world. It’s popular at my house too and it’s super easy-to-make.

You can find a ton of easy-to-make cocktail recipes on the TwoClassyChics blog, other websites, and over on YouTube. You’ll want to prepare this drink in a tall drinking glass, I prefer a chilled glass, but that’s up to you.

Tequila Sunrise Cocktail Drink Recipe

1 1/2 oz. Tequila
4 oz. Orange Juice
1 oz. Grenadine
Ice Cubes
Fresh Orange Segment
Fresh Red Cherry

Place ice cubes into the glass. Pour in the tequila and orange juice. Add in the Grenadine last. It should sink to the bottom giving you the color scheme of a beautiful sunrise. Add your fresh orange segment to the rim and toss in a red cherry on top. Serve immediately.
