How well do you get along with your neighbors? Our neighbors on one side of us and the ones across the street we get along with really well. The one neighbor on the other side of us drives everyone in our neighborhood NUTS! He’s constantly reporting people for every little thing. He’s not friendly at all. He has no issue with banging on your door if your grass gets a little too long, the kids make a little noise in the backyard, if he hears dogs barking, and a whole host of other things. I guess every neighborhood has a busy body who isn’t very neighborly. How about you?

I am lucky to have lovely neighbors on all sides of my place. It was not like that in my former neighborhood. I also like and agree with the quote.

I live in a senior apartment building and there are 7 apartments on my side of the building. Six of them are great if we need anything we ask and help each other out. But I have had 2 neighbors from hell that have lived in this apartment next to me. They are both gone now, and I am waiting on some one else to move in.

  3. My neighbors now are fantastic and it makes such a difference. In my old neighborhood which had many families, we had one person who would get upset when kids made any noise at all. I like hearing kids playing – means they are enjoying themselves in a positive way.

We don’t have a neighbor like that but we are in the country and live pretty far a part. Then again I would be the person who would knock on his door and tell him it is too quiet and there needs to be more laughter there. I can only imagine how upset he might get at me. But that is me and I am old enough to do it and not care.
