The A Method by Tina Alster M.D. SPF Protection Powders

April 27, 2021 by Jenelle

The A Method by Tina Alster M.D. SPF Protection PowdersNo matter what our age we need to protect our skin from the harmful rays of the sun. As a woman with fair to medium skin, I burn easily. I always wear sunscreen on my face when going out. For added protection, I use foundations and powders that contain sunscreen along with other healthy skin benefits.

Recently I had the opportunity to try out The A Method by Tina Alster M.D. SPF Protection Powders that come in the following shades: Clear – Fair – Light Gold – Medium Gold – Medium Tan – Medium Dark Tan – Mocha – Expresso. I selected the medium tan shade which is perfect for fair skin that tans a little bit in the summertime.

Formulated with only FOUR ingredients, the SPF Protection Powders were developed to provide a fuss-free, self-dispensing alternative to dangerous chemical filled sunscreens.

During the summertime I like to brush a little bit of color onto my face without having to use a heavy foundation. One of the things I really like about this product is that it feels light and airy on the skin. It’s not heavy and doesn’t clog up your pores. It’s easy to apply and I really love that it’s an all-in-one product that dispenses via the included brush.

To use you simply remove the cap, turn it upside down and let the powder go into the brush. Apply it on your skin in a circular motion. You can put on a little bit or build the coverage that you need. I like putting it across my cheeks, under my eyes, across my forehead and a little bit onto my nose. It looks so natural and you can’t tell that I’m wearing it. That’s how good make-up should look!

I’ve been wearing mineral-based foundations and powders for years. I can honestly tell you that this is one of the best products that I’ve used. I get great coverage and a little bit goes a long way. It’s a must-have in my beauty bag this summer.

This is the first time I have heard of these powders. They look like they would be great for the summer.

I had not heard of these until I read your post and now I want several of them. I too like to put a little color on my face and hate thick liquid foundations so this is perfect for me thanks for sharing.
