Last month I started my spring cleaning for 2021. I do 4 seasonal deep cleanings every year along with weekly cleaning and daily touchups. I like everything to be clean and in it’s proper place. It makes me feel good to keep a clean home which is as germ-free as possible. Unexpected guests? I never worry about them because my home is kept neat and clean.

One of the nicest things about this stick vacuum is it’s versatility. You can use it as a stair vacuum, upright or handheld. You can use it on wall-to-wall carpeting, tile flooring, hardwood floors, upholstery, etc. I’ve been using it all over my home! My cleaning tasks are quicker and easier. Even with a broken arm I’m able to take it from room to room getting things done.
I’ve used the vacuum the past week to vacuum the family room carpet, my hardwood floors in the dining room, the ceramic tile in the kitchen & entryway and I love using it to vacuum our area rugs. Finally a vacuum that gets them clean without trying to pull them into the unit! It glides nicely across all of those different surfaces! I don’t have to stop to change any settings either! I just go!
Romeo (our cat) has been doing a lot of shedding the past 3 weeks (shedding his winter coat) and leaving fur balls and hair all over the carpeting and furniture. I love using the handheld vacuum to clean up our upholstery. It gets all of that fur up in one pass. As pet owners, I think it’s extremely important to keep that under control as fur balls laying around can cause allergies & breathing problems.
I decided to put it through a big test. I got out my heavy duty vacuum and ran that over the carpeting in the living room. When I was done it looked clean. Seriously, it looked clean but wasn’t! I went back over that same carpeting with my new Black+Decker Ultra Lightweight Stick Vacuum and guess what? It got all kinds of dust, dirt and cat fur that the first vacuum had missed! Say what? Yes, first vacuum missed it!

Oh and while I’m talking about the dust bin…it’s super easy to un-attach, empty and re-attach. Wow, we were both really impressed with the job that this light-weight stick vacuum had done!

This looks like a great vacuum , especially for those who have pets. I shall have to tell my daughter-in-law about it.
This really looks like something I need. I have tile, wood, and carpet in the house. It would help to take care of all of this.
I would really like to have one of these for quick clean ups. You had me at Ultra Lightweight! We have a couple of brand new vacuum cleaners and they are all like pushing a ’57 Chevy uphill during a winter snow storm! Sometimes it really wipes me out to vacuum the entire house. I also trust the Black and Decker brand thanks for sharing this review and that price is reasonable.
