Playing Kitty Hide-n-Seek

Playing Kitty Hide-n-SeekOur handsome boy Romeo loves playing hide-n-seek. It’s one of his favorite playtime activities. He’s a year old and has a lot of energy to burn off throughout the day. We do our best to keep him busy by making sure he gets plenty of play time. Playing helps to keep him healthy and happy.

Last week I snapped two pictures of him playing hide-n-seek. I have two throw rugs in my kitchen and he loves to hide underneath him. Now that he’s a year old he barely fits which always gives it away on where he’s hiding. His third favorite place to hide is underneath his one cat bed.

Playing Kitty Hide-n-Seek

When we mention the words “hide-n-seek” he knows exactly what that means. He tears out of the room and goes to hide. We wait a few minutes and then we go and seek. He’s always the hider and we’re always the seeker. LOL Geesh, he should at least take turns!

What kind of games do you play with your furry friend? What are some of your cat’s favorite games and/or toys to play with? Besides playing hide-n-seek, Romeo enjoys playing with his laser toy, his dancing and flopping fish, and his one toy where balls spin around a column that he tries to batt with his paw. Fun stuff!

My son’s two cats have different personalities, but they both love to play games. I have never tried to play hide and seek with them.

That is so funny that he knows just what to do when you say you want to play. I really like cats and kittens.

  3. Cats can add such joy to our lives. I think your cat is funny.

  4. I love the picture with the paw sticking out too cute. It reminds me of my 19 year cat who passed away a while back anyway we would “hide” in my closet with his tail sticking out it always cracked me up.

  5. When my senior cat wants to play he will go to the top of his cat tree and wait for me to pitch his mouse toys to him and he will use his paw to bat them across the room. Play sessions are getting shorter now than when he was younger but still fun. Romeo is adorable.

Reading this made me laugh! I can remember all kinds of games and things I did with/for my cats. And I hate to admit some of them make me look like a idiot. But they were my babies
