The Mailbox Monday Meme is about celebrating all of those fun things we get in our mailbox every month! These items can be giveaways/contest prizes that you won, freebie samples you snagged from the internet, gifts you received from loved ones, etc.
I love winning giveaways and sweepstakes online but I hate it when I have to chase sponsors around (or bloggers) to get the prizes that I’ve won. Geesh. What a headache. Anyway, finally got the 2 Outback Steakhouse gift cards that we won in late December. Yes…December last month. From Instagram I won a ladies two-tone watch and 3 lip balms from a blog giveaway. The rest of the items in the photo are freebies that I was able to snag over the past few weeks. Not a bad haul since each of those gift cards are worth $25.00 each. Steak dinner is on the horizon!

Every so often I win some books from Goodreads
I was notified of winning a game prize pack in January and it was supposed to have been shipped immediately. No word at all as of today even after several contacts. I appreciate the giveaways on your blog because I know that you always follow through and I know that your reviews are fair and honest.
Thank you for saying that! We believe in honesty. If we have nothing nice to say about a product we notify the company & let them know. They can decide if they want their review published or not. Nine times out of ten they don’t…but at least we were honest with them. Our policy is this. We will not be held responsible if people buy products from a company based on a falsehood that we put on our blog. If we don’t like the taste of something or how something fits, works, etc. We state so in our post. We do it carefully by reminding readers we all have different likes and dislikes. It’s ALWAYS best to be honest with readers. Sadly though, most bloggers aren’t. They lie to get the product and/or commission off of future sales. Ugh.
I won some markers for the girls. They love them. It has been slim pickings around here but I don’t mind. I like it when others get goodies. Enjoy your meal.

Although I was able to buy many items at a good price I did not win any contests. I did receive some Beet essence and free perfume samples.
