I’m a busy Senior who is always on-the-go. You can often find me volunteering in my community, babysitting my great-grandchildren, helping my daughter Shelly, and other day-to-day tasks. Granola bars are one of my favorite go-to snacks and I always have a stash of them in my bag. Okay, a stash can be found in my pantry at home too.

MadeGood Granola Bars

MadeGood Foods makes a line of granola bars which I was excited to try. All of them are made with organic ingredients, contain whole grains, and nutrients from vegetables. The Granola Bars are available in a wide variety of different flavors. For this review I received the following varieties:

Sweet & Salty
Cookies & Creme
Chocolate Raspberry
Chocolate Chip
Chocolate Drizzled Cookie Crumble
Chocolate Drizzled Vanilla Flavor

MadeGood Granola Bars

Each one comes individually packaged, so you can toss them into your handbag, diaper bag, gym bag, travel bag, desk at work, school locker, etc. Great for on-the-go snacking. So here’s my personal thoughts on the flavors that I tried.

My favorite 3 flavors were: Chocolate Raspberry, Chocolate Drizzled Cookie Crumble and the Cookies & Creme Granola Bars. I have a bit of a sweet tooth and those tasted the sweetest to me. Great flavor combinations. The other 3 flavors were good too, don’t get me wrong on that. I would buy them and eat them. We’re all individuals and we all prefer different flavors over others. That’s what makes us unique.

The granola bars are a little firmer & harder than others that I’ve tried. If you have chewing problems, these might not be for you. I actually prefer mine on the firmer & crunchier side, so they were the perfect texture for me. Unlike other flavors out in the retail marketplace, I found these to be more unique. Not your run-of-the-mill flavor combinations which is great for a change.

I have tried Made Good bars and they are good! I really like granola bars.

  2. I have a box of the chocolate raspberry on hand in my pantry. They make a tasty go to snack for me and my grandkids. I would like to try some of the other flavors.

  3. I really like granola bars and these sound really good. I too have some chewing issues so I’m not sure if I could eat these if they are too firm but I would like to try them.
