A few months ago my husband installed 3 new outdoor security cameras on our property. He has one facing the front door, one facing the side door and the third one facing our backdoor. We went with the Blink Outdoor Security Cameras and absolutely love them. One of the best investments we’ve made in years.
It was even a better investment than we originally thought! We get a crystal clear video & picture of everything going on outside along with alerts sent to our smartphones, iPads, laptop, etc. when the cameras detect movement. We can see what’s going on day or night and we can talk to whoever is out there via the speaker. Images and speech is crystal clear.
What has worked out even better for us is that our cat Romeo loves watching the birds outside. He gets all excited and “cackles” when he sees them. When the birds come onto the front porch or play on our deck we record it and stream it onto the iPad or smart TV for him to watch. Oh my gosh, he gets so excited watching them on TV!!!
Here’s a short video of some birds fluttering around our outdoor porch lights! He went gaga watching that video clip over and over! It was better than feeding him his favorite treats!!! Next time around I’m going to try to capture a video of him watching the birdies so you all can see how excited our handsome little guy gets! LOL

This is a very smart idea. I know that my son’s cats would love it too. I shall mention the video idea to him.
This makes me smile. I know just the KA-KA-KA that my cats did when the saw a bird.
It is sad how our cats have trained us! But they have our hearts 🙂 Years ago I had ever piece of furniture arrange so my cats could lay on them and look out. If I had had something like this my cat would have been so happy.
