These Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls are great served for breakfast, brunch or as a dessert. They can be served hot or cold. Some members in my family like them with a dollop of whipped cream on top! They’re really easy-to-make!
Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls Recipe
1 can refrigerated cinnamon rolls
1 can apple pie filling
non-stick baking spray
ground cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly spray a muffin pan with non-stick baking spray.
Separate the cinnamon roll dough and the including icing packet. Place one roll into each cavity of your muffin pan. Use your fingers to press the dough down in the center to make a “well” for the apple pie filling. Use a tablespoon to add the apple pie filling into the center of each one.
Place pan into a pre-heated 350 degree F. oven. Bake according to package directions. Remove. While they’re still piping hot drizzle the icing on top and sprinkle on ground cinnamon according to your own taste buds. Serve immediately.
Note: If you’re not going to serve them right away, let them cool and place in an airtight container. I refrigerate them and remove 30 minutes before serving time. You can reheat them for 15 seconds in the microwave if you want to enjoy them warm.
