I’ve got spring fever and I’ve got it bad. Yesterday I sat down and made a list of the things I want to get done with our landscaping this year. I want my husband to add new walkway trim, two large garden planters in the front yard, new grass planted in the backyard and I’m thinking about having him plant one of those dwarf fruit trees. Not sure which one yet.

While I was online the other day, I visited Swing Set Mall, a store for swings, and ordered a new bird house and bird feeder for us to put out in the backyard along with a new tire swing for the kids. My children love playing outside! Do you have any new plans to spruce up your outdoor areas this year?

Comments

  1. I have been out in the yard doing some basic clean up and weeding. I need to have some trees trimmed and want to get some new planters. State agencies here are advising folks to take down bird feeders because of an outbreak of salmonellosis which is killing pine siskins and finches so no new feeders this year.

I do like this Japanese proverb that you quoted. I have not decided if I want to spruce up my little space. I do want to hang wind chimes, perhaps a bird feeder.

  3. Peggy Nunn says

We are looking at some new landscaping too. We just have to get on the schedule with the man that has the equipment. We need it done before it gets too hot here in the South.
