We do a lot of traveling and love visiting different beaches across America, especially the beaches on the east coast. Don’t get me wrong…the west coast and the gulf coast have some pretty beaches too, but I’m partial to the beauty on this side of the country. The “vibe” is different here, that’s all I can really say.
Every few years we like to visit Ocean City in Maryland. The first time I had been there was when I was 15 years old and I’ve been back several times over the decades. While I like Ocean City, it’s not my favorite beach to visit. Sorry, I’m partial to the Jersey Shore.
One morning a storm came in and it poured down rain for about an hour. Afterwards the fog and mist was heavy in the air. The storm had cooled things off, but the humidity was still there. Regardless, we headed out onto the boardwalk to grab breakfast. As you can see from the photos…it was overcast and and the sun was trying to peek through.
Most visitors were off of the beach and up on the boardwalk. As the morning went on…the boardwalk got more crowded. I’m not much for crowds as I don’t like baby strollers banging into me, people bumping into me, the loud noises, etc. Sorry, I just don’t like it! We headed out of there and went to visit a museum which was really nice.
I think it’s fun to see photos of different beaches around the country. Sometimes it helps other’s to decide where to go on vacation. Or in some cases, where not to go. Ocean City in Maryland is very nice and is definitely worth the visit at least once in your lifetime.
I have not been to Ocean City in at least 20 years. We used to go ever summer and had so much fun. My niece and her family go ever year she already has reservation for May they love it there and the food is so good.
That is so pretty. I like the beaches in Florida. The sky there is just a different color. It is so clear.
