My husband and I enjoy going out once in awhile on a date night. We will typically go out for dinner and drinks while a babysitter keeps on eye on the kids. It’s a great way for us to re-connect and spend some one-on-one time together. With that said, Covid-19 has kept us at home for almost a year. No dinner nights out, no drinks out with friends, etc.

The past few months I’ve been teaching myself how to make some of our favorite cocktail drinks. You can find a ton of easy-to-make cocktail recipes on the TwoClassyChics blog, other websites, and over on YouTube. Today I’m sharing with you tips on how to make a Bahama Mama. It’s one of my favorite fruity drinks!
Bahama Mama Cocktail Drink Recipe
2 oz. Dark Rum
1 oz. Light Rum
1 oz. Coconut Rum
2 oz. Orange Juice
2 oz. Pineapple Juice
1/2 oz. Lemon Juice
Ice Cubes
Orange Wedge
Cherry
Place all of the rums, orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice and ice cubes into a blender. Blend until the mixture is of a slushy consistency. Pour into preferably a chilled glass. Garnish with an orange wedge and a cherry. Serve immediately.

I have been enjoying trying more rum cocktails. This one sounds delicious with both different types of rum and fruits juices.
Thats the drink I drank on my honeymoon back in 1973. Now I can make it at home-finally!
OMG this sounds so good!! I don’t have dark rum putting it on my shopping list. This I will be making what a wonderful drink for spring/summer
