Getting Things Organized with a Battery Storage Box

Battery Organizer Storage BoxHow many of you have a junk drawer with a ton of batteries floating around in it? We had 2 of them, one in the kitchen and one in my workshop. I was constantly looking for batteries, buying new ones because I couldn’t find what I needed and wasting time & money while I was at it. Not to mention, taking up a lot of drawer space.

Shelly and I have been on a mission to downsize and organize all items in our home. We’re both older now and it’s been too much for us to keep up with. I was in charge of tackling the junk drawer and my workshop and decided to start with my collection of batteries.

On Amazon they sell a lot of different battery storage boxes. They have them in all kinds of shapes and sizes, as well as price points. I decided to go with the one shown in the photos. It’s a medium sized storage box with a hinged lid, carrying handle, sections for all of the different type’s of batteries and came with a battery tester.

You can place it on a shelf, in a drawer, under your bed, or hang it up on a wall thanks to the hanging hooks (and screws that were included) on the back. I have mine hanging up in my workshop so that I can easily see and find them when I need one.

One project has now been tackled and time to move onto the next one. We’ve made a list and will be tackling new projects every weekend until things get done. I have to admit, it feels good to get something cleaned up and organized.

I saw this post and thought it was a great idea. I now have a battery storage and battery tester and it is stored on a shelf.

This sounds just like my mother she has batteries in ever drawer through out the house. And she does not leave them in the pack she saves room by get rid of the package. And the best part is when she changes a battery she does not through them in the trash. This box she needs to get organized.
