Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Mind Blown! All True & New

In the 17th edition of the best-selling Ripley’s annual book you will surely meet incredible people and animals such as the Ladybeast, a circus and escape artist from New Orleans; Mose the two-legged dog, who taught himself to walk and run bipedally; and the Cartoon Café, a café in Seoul, South Korea, where customers feel as if they are appearing in an animated fantasy series. These pages are filled with stories and pictures that will resonate with anyone who reads it.

The layout of the 17th edition is a little different than past titles. In past titles, stories were broken down into “chapters” or “sections”. Mind Blown! does not have chapters. Instead, it mentions some Ripley’s exclusives and highlights a few other stories. It gives a brief history of Ripley himself and introduces the new Odditorium in Dubai, the YouTube series Cool Stuff strange Things, the Believe It or Notcast podcast, and then jumps into the strange, amazing, interesting stories that we all know and love. If you don’t believe me, just ask my toddler…

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Mind Blown! All True & New

Ripley’s has been around my whole life. Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve always enjoyed flipping through the pages of the Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Books engrossed not only in the color photos, but also the crazy, amazing stories that filled the pages. As I got older, my love of Ripley’s grew and I was able to pass that love onto my now 12-year old step-son. I never pass up the opportunity to add a Ripley’s title to my collection, and although my step-son’s hobbies are changing, I know he will always love the Ripley’s titles…and now he can pass these stories onto his little brother! Not only does our family enjoy Ripley’s, but my 8-year old nephew also really enjoys Ripley’s books. My sister says that he is always checking out past copies at his school’s library.

With Christmas just days away, I’ve decided to pass on the Ripley’s love by gifting Mind Blown! to my nephew. I know he is really going to love opening this gift, and hopefully it will get him to start his very own collection. It’ll be a great gift to get his parents and little sister involved too…reading these incredible stories as a family. So if you are looking for a last minute Christmas gift, than look no further. Visit your local bookstore or order this Ripley’s title online. You can learn more about Ripley’s Publishing by visiting their website.
