Mexican Popcorn Snack Mix Recipe
Tired of the same old, same old? Do you enjoy South of the Border flavors? If so, you’ll want to try this recipe for Mexican Popcorn Snack Mix courtesy of our friends over at Popcorn.org. It’s really easy-to-make and will yield approximately 2 cups. What a great twist on an old classic!
Mexican Popcorn Snack Mix Recipe
2 quarts popped popcorn
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (or to taste)
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons roasted and salted pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
Place popcorn in a large bowl. Mix butter and hot pepper sauce and toss with popcorn. Mix remaining ingredients and sprinkle over popcorn. Toss again and serve. You’ll want to store leftovers in an airtight container or storage bag to keep it fresh. Enjoy!
