How to Make a Pisco Sour Cocktail Drink

Pisco Sour Cocktail Drink RecipeMy husband and I enjoy going out once in awhile on a date night. We will typically go out for dinner and drinks while a babysitter keeps on eye on the kids. It’s a great way for us to re-connect and spend some one-on-one time together. With that said, Covid-19 has kept us at home for almost a year. No dinner nights out, no drinks out with friends, etc.

The past few months I’ve been teaching myself how to make some of our favorite cocktail drinks. You can find a ton of easy-to-make cocktail recipes on the TwoClassyChics blog, other websites, and over on YouTube.

Pisco Sour Cocktail Drink Recipe

2 oz. Pisco
1 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
5 oz. Simple Syrup
1 Fresh Egg White
Fresh Lemon Wedge
Ice

Place the Pisco, fresh lime juice, simple syrup and fresh egg white into a cocktail shaker. Cover and shake (without ice) until blended. Remove lid and add ice. Shake again until blended. Pour into a glass. Serve immediately.

Tips: If you like your drinks well-chilled then serve this one over-rocks (ice cubes placed into the glass). I added a cherry to each of the Pisco Sour’s that I made to add color.

Although I like the ingredients in this drink I am a little worried about using a raw egg white. Many years ago i would use raw eggs, but then came all the warnings and I stopped using them raw.

This is a very interesting drink. Have to say I don’t or didn’t know that ever used a egg white in a cold drink.

  3. I remember Pisco sours. My friend and I had them on our trip to Chile.
