How to Make a Cuba Libre Cocktail Drink

Cuba Libre Cocktail Drink RecipeMy husband and I enjoy going out once in awhile on a date night. We will typically go out for dinner and drinks while a babysitter keeps on eye on the kids. It’s a great way for us to re-connect and spend some one-on-one time together. With that said, Covid-19 has kept us at home for almost a year. No dinner nights out, no drinks out with friends, etc.

The past few months I’ve been teaching myself how to make some of our favorite cocktail drinks. You can find a ton of easy-to-make cocktail recipes on the TwoClassyChics blog, other websites, and over on YouTube.  We like our drinks well-chilled, so I’ll chill our glasses for an hour or two before preparing the drink.

Ice Cubes
Fresh Lime Wedge

I do like to have a rum drink to relax at times. I shall try this recipe at some point, probably at night when I would want to relax more.

  2. I especially like a drink like this on a nice spring or summer evening relaxing on my deck. I like the lime and mint garnish to make it extra special.

  3. When I was a freshman in college we went up in the mountains to have fun and drink. (silly teenagers, you know). We had rum and coke. I passed out. I will not drink this drink.
