FoodieKid was founded by a Brooklyn mom who wanted to be sure her kids grew up having adventurous palates and a healthy relationship with wholesome foods. She started experimenting with home cooking with her first baby, a happy puree eater, and then had to figure a new way of preparing veggies for her second child, who rejected mushy textures. In the process, she came to understand a lot about babies’ eating habits and developed Simple Starters.

When I first became pregnant back in January 2019, I knew that my baby’s nutrition would be very important to me. After discussing nutrition with my husband and my pcp, it was decided that our son would have a complete organic diet. My son is now 15 months old and eats almost completely organic. I’m always looking for new foods to introduce to his diet, so I was super excited to try FoodieKid’s Simple Starters. What I like the most about Simple Starters is that you can choose your level of puree depending on your child’s eating habits. Simple Starters gives you three options: smooth puree, chunky puree or finger foods.
When I first introduced Simple Starters to my son’s diet, he wasn’t having it…it was something new that he wasn’t used to and he doesn’t do too well with change. However, after a few tries, he’s now enjoying the food that I make him at dinnertime…as long as it’s completely pureed. My son is all about smooth pureed foods…he’s still learning about texture and usually spits out his food if there are any chunks in it. Simple Starters gives him the healthy nutrition he needs in a smooth puree form.
Trying to find the right food for your baby or toddler can be stressful and confusing, but it doesn’t have to be with Simple Starters. With Simple Starters you are not only giving your child healthy organic food, but you are also giving them food that tastes good too. Start with a smooth puree and work your way up to finger foods…just remember that their food preferences will change as they get older.
Simple Starters is the perfect food options because you can offer their foods in different ways. So if you are a new parent to feeding your baby solids, then I highly recommend you give FoodieKid Simple Starters a try. You won’t be disappointed. These sound like great packets for a new mom who want good organic food for the baby. I wish that this product and others like it had existed years ago.
