I love shopping for bargains and last month I stumbled on a great one! I had to go into the Dollar General Store to pick up a few things and found all kinds of leftover Christmas items on clearance. When I say clearance…try 75 to 80% off! That’s my kind of clearance sale!

Can you say stock-up time? Yes, indeed! I purchased all of the gift wrap, bags, bows, tags, etc. that I would need for Christmas 2021 and ONLY spent $8.00. I will have more than I actually need! The kitchen towels were too cute to pass up, especially for .35 cents each. I bought 3 of those and I’ll use them later this year. Seriously, I got all kinds of stuff, five bags full plus all of the rolls of gift wrap.
Once I was home I added everything up. If I would of paid full price for everything I would of spent close to $68.00. Instead, I spent a little over $15.00 including the cookies, hot cocoa and candy. Wow, what a deal!

You found some great buys. I did not go bargain hunting this year because I did not want to go into many stores during this pandemic.
I learned a lot of year ago NOT to go after Christmas clearance shopping. One year I was cleaning out the closet where I had my bargains. I had enough paper to last for 20+ years not counting bags, boxes and bows.
That is a great deal. i have not gone to any store besides the grocery store in a year. I will be glad to get out and get some sales myself.
Great haul. I haven’t been in any stores other than groceries for 11 months so no bargains. On the other hand I haven’t spent any money there either.
