As some of you may know…I suffer with a rare genetic disease called Porphyria. On top of that I have an epilepsy, osteoporosis, and other health ailments. I’ve been dealing with chronic medical problems since the age of 2 years. I’m always looking for new products to try that may help to improve my condition and/or symptoms. Yes, I’m always striving to lead a more healthier lifestyle.

For this review I received 2 bags of Vena CBD Chocolates to try out for you. They currently offer 3 different flavors:

* Decadent Dark Chocolate
* Dark Chocolate Peppermint
* Milk Chocolate Toffee Crumble

I received a bag of the Decadent Dark Chocolate and a bag of the Milk Chocolate Toffee Crumble which I’ll be telling you about today. The chocolates are made in small batches and are considered to be a CBD supplement. Each square of chocolate contains 25mg of CBD. Each resealable bag contains 10 squares. Suggested Use: 1 Chocolate Square at a time.

The chocolates are third-party tested to ensure non-detectable levels of THC (defined as less than .01%). They are non GMO, pesticide free, and made in the U.S.A.

Decadent Dark Chocolate Ingredients: 72% Cacao Chocolate (chocolate, sugar, soy lecithin), Cocoa Butter.

Milk Chocolate Toffee Crumble Ingredients: Chocolate (sugar, cocoa butter, whole milk powder, unsweetened chocolate, nonfat dry milk, milkfat, soy lecithin, natural vanilla extract), toffee (butter, pasteurized cream, salt), sunflower lecithin, salt, cocoa butter.

Hubby and I are chocolate addicts. What I can I say? We live 15 minutes from a well-known chocolate factory! We eat something containing chocolate almost every day. The majority of chocolate out in the retail marketplace is good but not-so healthy for us. It’s nice to see that CBD has made it’s way into chocolate which makes it a healthier alternative. Like everything…it should be enjoyed in moderation.

We’ve been snacking on our new CBD Chocolates and I have to tell you…we’re impressed! They have a nice taste to them with no bitter after-taste at all. Just toss one square into your mouth and let it slowly melt (dissolve) for the best experience! Yesterday I tossed one of the Decadent Dark Chocolate squares into my hot cocoa and oh my gosh, it made that cup of cocoa out-of-this-world delicious!

I’ve been enjoying the product during the evening hours to help me relax, calm down and de-stress. I have a little ritual going that consists of a bubble bath, burning a relaxation candle, sipping on a cup of hot cocoa and enjoying a square of my CBD chocolate. For some reason…I feel relaxed and ready to hit the bed afterwards!  Hubby and I give the chocolates a huge 2-thumbs up!
