Yes indeed! The month of January is almost over. With every passing day we’re one day closer to spring’s arrival. I’m ready to get outside with the kids as they’ve been climbing the walls for weeks. My kids aren’t couch potatoes or video gamers and love to be outside. I do too!
This weekend the kids will be sitting down and working on their Valentine’s Day cards. They’ll be mailing them out this year to their friends (and family) instead of exchanging them in person. After the cards they’ll be crafting-up their mailboxes to go along with them. Hopefully both will get a lot of cards this year. Do you send out Valentine’s Day cards to your friends & family? or Just to your sweetheart?
I was just reading this week about kids and valentines day cards at school. They were saying that kids would not be doing the card exchange at school. It is sad that they are losing that but your ideal of mailing the cards is GREAT!! I am hoping that by this summer we will be starting to get life back again.
I give a gift bag with a card and some treats and books to my grandkids to celebrate Valentines Day. Just small items to make it a bit special.
We haven’t done anything with Valentines for a very long time. I look forward to warmer weather too. I just want to get outside since I can’t visit anyone or stores.
