My granddaughter is 11 1/2 years old and is all girl. I mean girl! She loves painting her nails, doing her hair, bathing with smelly soaps and of course…she loves making her own bath bombs! She’s a lot like me and her mom!

Last month I ordered the Cra-Z-Art Spa Creations Bath Bomb Maker Kit from Amazon. I had seen similar kits in retail stores but they weren’t as nice as this particular kit. You can make up to 20 handmade bath fizzies with it.
They recommend ages 8 years and up. I think if you’re under 10 you may need adult supervision. Even though our princess is 11 she did need a little bit of adult help from time to time until she got the hang of it. Also, this can be messy, so lay down some newspaper or an old table cloth before they get started.
It comes with everything you need to get started. The scent, materials, machine, bath bomb molds, accessories, etc. Girls will enjoy sitting down and mixing up the ingredients, molding their fizzies and then using them once dry & completed. Which reminds me, they only took 24 hours to fully dry out!
You’ll need scissors (to cut open packages & bags) and a few disposable plastic bowls for mixing things up. I recommend keeping paper towels and a wet rag nearby for quick clean-up and spills. If you’re worried about your entire house smelling like them…don’t be. The fragrance was very minimal and didn’t bother me at all.
As you can see with our photos she had a great time making them. She has enough supplies left to make a few more which is on her to-do list for next weekend. I think for an 11 year old she did a great job and they smell great! She’s going to give one to each of her girlfriends which sounds fun!
This would be a cool bath bomb making kit to gift to any young girl on your gift-giving list. I think it would be great to whip out during a little sleepover party, during a birthday party, etc. when you want to keep the girls busy. Fun for sure!!!
If you’re looking to buy something like this I recommend checking out Amazon. They had a large selection of different kits by different manufacturers and all of them were a pretty decent price. Just my two cents on that!

I can see why young girls would enjoy making these bombs. I also think that many moms would have making and using them too!
When I first glanced at the picture I thought it made snow cones. Ha! This would be great at a small party (when ever that might be)
I had no idea that you could purchase something like this wow this is so cool. The kids in the family would have a blast with this one and to tell you the truth I think I would like to try it too.
