OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: Bullied at school and lonely at home, Lena keeps hoping she’ll have a true friend someday. One afternoon, her dreams come true — in the shape of a cuddly white lion cub! Lena tries to keep playful Snowball out of trouble, but the clumsy poachers who kidnapped the valuable cub, and the cruel trophy collector who paid for him, are desperate to get him back. As Lena races to rescue poor Snowball, her new friend Jake will do anything to help. Be careful, or Snowball will melt your family’s heart!
Lena & Snowball is the perfect film for your next family movie night. One of the things we enjoyed about the film is that it’s not animated. Let’s face it, we’re all getting tired of those “magical” animated films that are geared towards young kids. The older kids need good entertainment too.
We sat down with our 2 grandchildren to watch it last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. The story line is well-written and the actors do a nice job at playing their parts. Within 15 minutes of watching it we were drawn into the story and anxious to see how it all turns out. There are twists and turns along the way, enough to keep you entertained from start to finish. Even if you don’t have children I think it would be a movie you would enjoy.
