Boost Your Immunity with Immune Support Tea by Ancient Wisdom Herbs

January 20, 2021 by Kristine

I love to relax with a great cup of tea, especially during the cooler months. I recently learned about Ancient Wisdom Herbs and their Immune Support Tea. I’ll take all the immunity boosting I can get, so this was something that was definitely appealing to me. Herbal medicine is a widely accepted therapy throughout the world and according to the World Health Organization, it is estimated that 80% of the world’s population still uses traditional medical systems, including herbal medicine for some or part of their primary care.

Immune Support Tea by Ancient Wisdom Herbs

Ancient Wisdom Herbs has a line of organic herbal products that were created to support health naturally. All of this company’s products are formulated by clinical herbalists and are effective, gentle and safe.

As I mentioned above, I was sent some of the Immune Support Tea, which according to the company provides gentle support for the immune system. Immune support tea contains a blend of herbs known in both Western Herbalism and Chinese medicine to have immune stimulating properties as well as herbs that support the body during viral infections. This tea includes harmonious mix of herbs such as elderflower, honeysuckle, lemon balm, nettle, lemon peel, ginger, chamomile, peppermint and rose hips. Rose hips and lemon peel are known for their high vitamin C content and lemon balm and elder both have been known to have anti-viral and immunity supporting properties.

The Immune Support Tea is handcrafted in small batches using only sustainably grown or wildcrafted plants. The tea can be enjoyed daily as an immune tonic or used to support your body if you have a viral infection. There are two ways to prepare the tea.

Immune Support Tea by Ancient Wisdom Herbs

* The first is the “simple method,” which is done by placing 1-3 teaspoons of the herbs in a cup, boil water and pour over the herbs. Let it steep for about 15 minutes and then strain the herbs from the tea.

* The second say is the “long infusion,” which is created by placing ¼ of a cup of the herbs into a quart-sized jar. Be sure to fill the jar to the top with boiling water, cover and let sit overnight. In the morning, you simply strain the herbs and enjoy cold (or reheated if you prefer). This will keep in the refrigerator for 48 hours.

I’ve been preparing the tea using the simple method and really enjoy the invigorating aroma and warmth the tea provides. This tea also makes a great iced tea in the summer, but if you aren’t feeling well, the warm cup of tea is the way to go.

The Immune Support Tea is available on the Ancient Wisdom Herbs website for $18. For more information, you can visit the company’s Facebook page.

I drink tea all day long. I have not yet tried this product, but it sounds good. I always add lemon to my tea mixture.

I have a cup of tea to relax every day and this sounds like a nice blend with lemon and rose hips. I could always use a boost like this to keep healthy.
