Back in late September I had an accident which landed me in the hospital for a total of 4 1/2 weeks along with emergency surgery to repair a broken left arm and hand. Following surgery I had many complications which extended my recovery process by several months. To this day I still don’t have full use of my arm & hand and rely on others to help me wash my hair and do other tasks that need to be done. Going through this ordeal has caused my hair to be extremely dry, dull, and lifeless. It was really a mess and needed to be rescued.
For the review I received the BioSilk 9-1-1 Rescue Kit that includes the Antibacterial Shampoo, the Rescue Moisturizing Conditioner, and the Antibacterial Hair & Body Mist. These products are made for natural based cleansing care, provide effective protection to help prevent the spread of germs. They’re formulated with natural aloe vera and work to repair & replenish moisture and condition your hair and body. They protect against bacteria, germs and damage. Sulfate and paraben free.
Antibacterial Shampoo with Aloe Vera, Lavender, and Silk – Relieves hair and scalp of bacteria and germs. Natural cleanser is gentle and protects damaged hair. Shampoo is gentle and can be used daily.
Rescue Moisturizing Conditioner with Aloe Vera, Lavender, and Silk – Replenishes with rich moisture to sooth and nourish the hair to help prevent dryness and damage, providing a smooth, silky feel. Use after shampooing on wet hair. Leave on for 1-3 minutes, but for optimum results leave on for 5 minutes. Rinse clean. Can be used daily.
Antibacterial Hair & Body Mist with Aloe Vera, Lavender, and Silk – Lightweight spray helps to condition the hair and body, and guard against bacteria and germs. Shake well. Mist product over hair and body. Can be used daily.
I started using all three products every other day when my Mom helped me wash my hair. First we used the shampoo, then the conditioner. We left the conditioner in for 3-5 minutes before rinsing it out. I’ve been leaving my hair air-dry. The Hair & Body Mist I used every day even on the days that we didn’t wash my hair. It’s great to re-freshen your hair in between washing.
I’ve been using the products for 15 days now and love them! They smell so good! The shampoo lathers up nicely without making an over-abundance of suds. It rinses out of your hair quickly. The moisturizing conditioner is really nice and in my honest opinion, the star of the trio! I have medium-to-long, thick hair and a little bit of product goes a long way. It does a nice job at removing tangles and rinses from your hair quickly. It doesn’t leave behind a greasy or oily residue at all. The mist smells fabulous! It does a great job at keeping your hair and body smelling nice. I don’t like “odors” lingering in my hair and the mist does a great job at removing them.
Overall…I really LOVE the BioSilk 9-1-1 Hair Rescue Kit. If you’re having any issues with your hair you should give it a try. Heck, even if you don’t have issues…I would still use the products! Yes, they’re that good!
