I spent HOURS this past weekend trying to get things cleaned up and house back in order. Every time I turn around the kids have been making a mess. New toys mixed with old toys, gift wrap & bags all over the place and even the dog Nellari has gotten in on the action. Dog toys every where. I decided earlier today to just give it a rest. They’re still too excited and hyped up about Christmas. I will try again in two weeks once things are calmer. Hope you had a nice holiday weekend.
I have been enjoying the holidays with some of my family. I now have some time to relax and I hope you can do that too.
Just enjoy the time right how with your family. Enlist the kids to help with the cleaning. You can figure out their motivation… be it making cookies or more screen time, or whatever. They can help and you can have some down time. You deserve it.
