We wanted to take a few minutes today to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday. Our day started at sunrise with Mass and then we rushed home to get the cooking started. I can tell you that it smells good in here! The tree is lit and our grandchildren will be visiting later today. Both are excited to see what Pappy, Nanny and Romeo got for them this year.
2020 has been a difficult year for our family. We lost 3 members and have yet to host their funeral services. The China Virus – Covid 19 has changed all of our lives. We’ve all been wearing masks, washing our hands, social distancing and limiting our activities when we can. For us personally, we’ve been learning to entertain ourselves in more meaningful ways which has been a good thing!
Please remember the real reason for the Christmas holiday. The birth of Christ, our Savior. It’s not about all of the gifts you get and all of that jazz. Even though the year has been difficult we’ve still been blessed in other ways.
Anyway, Merry Christmas to everyone!!!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you all, too. Sorry for your loss. My friend lost both her parents this year to Covid.
Merry Christmas to you all. I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of three of your family members this year. Christmas here is pretty depressing this year too but I am reminding myself of the True Meaning of Christmas and that warms my heart.
Merry Christmas to all of you too. Yes, this year has been difficult, but next year should eventually get better. We have all been very careful and have learned to entertain ourselves differently.
