We love visiting the Wildwoods island and visit as often that we can. Hubby is going to take early retirement in the next 4-5 years and we’ll be relocating to North Wildwood to live out our golden years by the sea. We both love the coastal lifestyle.
On a recent trip down to the south Jersey Shore we stumbled upon our first living postcard. We had never seen one before. It’s a really cool piece of street art that serves a wonderful function. You can go to the website and/or scan the barcode which takes you to YouTube. You can then choose from 49 different videos and listen to people talk about their Wildwood stories.
The postcard is made up of 100% laser engraved genuine Wildwood Boardwalk wooden tiles. Each one depicts a different scene or something that has to do with the Wildwoods island. This is a new addition to the beachfront in spring 2020. You’ll find it located near the 7th Street Beach in North Wildwood, along JFK Blvd. It’s located on the backside of the public restroom building.
It’s much prettier in person and I’m so glad we stumbled upon it completely by accident! The colors are vibrant and it was really neat to check out each of the wooden tiles. Once we got home we visited their website to listen to a few of the recorded stories. Fun stuff for sure!

This is such a cool idea a living post card. This sounds like a wonderful place to retire at. I would love to live near the ocean it just relaxes me and I love everything about it.
