As the weather gets cooler, I find that having warm feet is key to making me feel warm all over. This year, I’m very happy to have some fabulous new socks to keep my feet comfortable and toasty-warm, MP Magic Socks.

These MP Magic Socks are no ordinary socks. It starts with the fabric (82% Merino Wool, 13.5% MP Special Yarn, 4.5% Lycra), which not only provides warmth but is also antibacterial, breathable, and odorless. The socks’ unusual construction adds to their remarkable comfort, with bands and layers built in to provide support and cushioning in all the right places. The company says “With these functional fabrics, you can take off your shoes without any hesitation. MP Magic socks are equipped with metal circulation wire zones, making them 100% conductive, boosting foot circulation and reducing stiffness!”
I can’t vouch for the claim that MP Magic Socks are odorless even if you’re using them for travel over several days, since I’m definitely not traveling lately and I haven’t worn my MP Magic Socks in any situations where my feet got sweaty, but it’s certainly something to keep in mind. If you’re in the TSA line at the airport and you have to take off your shoes after a long day on your feet, you don’t want the embarrassment of having stinky feet! According to the company, incorporating silver, copper, and zinc into the fabric “reduces the bacteria that can cause foot odors. We’re careful to infuse all three within the fabric of the socks, so no matter how many times you wash your socks, these odor-killing elements will remain active.”
The only issue I ran into with my MP Magic Socks is that the package had conflicting information for drying the socks after laundering them, specifying both “Tumble dry at low” and “Dry Flat.” I wanted to test both methods for this review, and I found that the socks that went through the dryer did shrink, while the air-dried socks did not. Fortunately, the pair that shrank still fit, although they’re noticeably tighter. So my advice is to always air-dry your MP Magic Socks, which is totally worth the extra effort and time to keep your socks in perfect shape.
