For this review I received 2 jars of the Bee K’onscious Artisanal Honey in the Single-Origin Organic Brazilian Raw Honey in the Wild Mint and Christmas Berry flavors. I’ve tried their honey before and was excited to give these particular varieties a try. I’m a big coffee and hot tea drinker and enjoy using honey as my preferred sweetener instead of sugar.
The honey has a smooth consistency to it and was easy to get out of the jar. I found that 1 teaspoon is all I needed when adding it to my hot coffee and tea. Last week I made several fruit smoothies and added 2 tablespoons to the blending pitcher which worked perfectly too. You can use this honey as a natural topping drizzled on ice cream, yogurt, warm muffins or bread. I preferred the Wild Mint in my hot beverages and the Christmas Berry in my fruit smoothies, ice cream and drizzled over warm breads. It’s delicious!
Did you know that honey can be stored forever? If it crystalizes during storage just warm up the jar with warm water and stir until crystals dissolve. I’m a big honey user so mine never last very long.
