The product line includes granola bars, granola minis, crispy squares, soft baked mini cookies, and crispy light granola in a variety of different flavors. Over the next few weeks I’ll be featuring several different products that I had the opportunity to try.

MadeGood Granola Bars - Mixed Berry

I’m a busy Senior who is always on-the-go. You can often find me volunteering in my community, babysitting my great-grandchildren, helping my daughter Shelly, and other day-to-day tasks. Granola bars are one of my favorite go-to snacks and I always have a stash of them in my bag. Okay, a stash can be found in my pantry at home too.

MadeGood Foods makes a line of granola bars and granola minis. All of them are made with organic ingredients and contain nutrients from vegetables. The Granola Bars are available in 7 flavors: Apple Cinnamon, Mixed Berry, Chocolate Banana, Chocolate Chip, Cookies & Creme, Strawberry, and Sweet & Salty.

I recently had the opportunity to try out the Apple Cinnamon and Mixed Berry varieties and loved them! They have a nice crunchy texture to them without being overly hard. I found them to be moist and sticky (in a good way) and weren’t all dried out like cardboard. The Apple Cinnamon flavor contains pieces of dried apples and raisins. The Mixed Berry flavor contains dried raspberries, cranberries and currants.

Each package contains 6 bars which are 90-100 calories per bar. Great for those of us who are watching our weight. The vitamins in each bar are from the vegetable extracts (spinach, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, beets, and shiitake mushrooms).  You would never know that there are veggies in them which is a good thing. Both varieties are delicious!

MadeGood Granola Minis

The MadeGood Granola Minis are available in 5 different flavors: Chocolate Banana, Apple Cinnamon, Mixed Berry, Chocolate Chip, and Strawberry. They’re just like the granola bars but are done in a round mini shape. They’re popable!

You get 4 portion packs within 1 box and each portion pack contains 6 mini round granola balls. Serving size is one portion pack (6 mini round granola balls) which contains approximately 110 calories. I really like these mini granola balls which are even MORE perfect for the person who is on-the-go and doesn’t want to mess with a full-size granola bar.

You can learn more about the MadeGood family of products by visiting the company’s website online and connecting with them on Facebook.
