The product line includes granola bars, granola minis, crispy squares, soft baked mini cookies, and crispy light granola in a variety of different flavors. Over the next few weeks I’ll be featuring several different products that I had the opportunity to try.
Recently I had the opportunity to try out the MadeGood Crispy Light Granola which can be eaten straight from the bag as a granola snack or add milk to turn it into cereal. It’s equally as good stirred into yogurt or bowl of breakfast oatmeal to add crunch and flavor. The two flavors that I’ve personally tried are the Cocoa Crunch and the Strawberry.
The MadeGood Crispy Light Granola is made with organic ingredients with nutrients from vegetables and is free from the most common allergens. Each bag contains 10 oz. with 4.5 to 5 servings per bag. The strawberry variety contains (snack size) 110 calories (bowl size) 250 calories per serving while the Cocoa Crunch variety has (snack size) 130 calories (bowl size) 280 calories per serving.
Both varieties contain natural flavor and vegetable extracts (spinach, broccoli, carrots, tomatoes, beets, and shiitake mushrooms). Honestly, I didn’t taste any veggies while eating them which is a good thing in my book. I used them primarily as my breakfast cereal and really appreciated that they stayed crunchy. I’m not a fan of soggy cereals in the morning. Each one had a nice flavor and texture to them.
Last week I put some of the MadeGood Crispy Light Granola in a zippy bag and snacked on it while out running errands. Equally as good straight from the bag. If you’re a fan of yogurt, I recommend adding 2-3 tablespoons of the granola into your favorite yogurt. It really amps up the flavor and makes that plain old yogurt more filling.

I sincerely want to try this product. I am really impressed that it contains vegetable extracts that is so wonderful and I love granola. I really have to start eating better in the morning. I confess, I eat foods that are way way too high in cholesterol for breakfast and I have to stop.
