Healthy Crunch Gluten-Free Granola Bars

September 16, 2020 by Carol

Healthy Crunch Gluten-Free Granola BarsHealthy Crunch is a line of snack and beverages created by registered dietitian and trained chef, Julie Bednarksi. Brand new to the U.S. market, Healthy Crunch offers instant lattes, sunseed butters, granola bars, coconut chips, and more. Over the next few weeks I’ll be introducing you to several of the company’s products.

* Complimentary samples received for review.

I love granola bars and I’m picky about the ones that I’ll eat. I don’t like brick-hard bars that hurt my teeth or bars that taste like cardboard. A good bar will be flavorful and easy-to-chew. A good bar will be loaded with “good for you” ingredients and not be loaded with a bunch of junk.

The Healthy Crunch Granola Bars tick off all of the boxes on my checklist! They’re available in four delicious flavors: Berry, Apple Cinnamon, Double Chocolate, and Chocolate Banana. The bars are peanut-free, gluten-free, Non-GMO and contain 50% less sugar than their competitors. Each bar is between 90 to 100 calories, perfect for people who are watching their weight.

Why choose Healthy Crunch Granola Bars?

* Each bar contains 1 serving of fruits and vegetables.
* Each bar contains 1 billion active probiotics (for gut health).
* Contains 2 grams of sugar per bar.
* Manufactured in a gluten-free and peanut-free facility.

Each package contains 5 bars. Each bar has a net wt. of 0.85 oz. In my honest opinion, they’re the perfect size. These days I see way too many companies making granola bars that are the size of king-size candy bars. I can easily tuck a few bars in my handbag, gym bag or travel bag. They don’t take up a lot of cabinet space in my kitchen.

One thing that immediately impressed me was that the granola bars are “flexible”. I can bend them and twist them. A sign that they’re not brick hard! I can easily chew them. Each one has a nice flavor profile and taste exactly like the flavor stated on the box. There’s no guessing on what flavor you’re eating. They’re satisfying and filling.

I’m 71 years old and I love these granola bars. I’ve shared them with my 53 year old daughter, my 35 year old granddaughter and my 11 year old great-granddaughter. I’m telling you this information because I think every member in your family will enjoy them. All three of the flavors that I tried were delicious. If I had to pick a favorite (twisting my arm), I would say that the Double Chocolate was the best. With that said, I would buy all three.

    I would like to try all of them but the double chocolate would be first on my list. I know what you mean about ones that are hard and have no flavor. These sound so good.

    I have not heard of these. I will have to try them out, especially for the peanut free aspect.

    These bars sound so good. I have to agree some bars you have almost beat them on the edge of a counter/table to break them. Then some don’t taste like anything you can describe. These bars look and sound good will have to check them out.
