Virgil’s Classic Root Beer Float Recipe
National Root Beer Float Day is on August 6th, 2020. This year we’ll be making a batch of homemade vanilla ice cream with our ice cream maker and Virgil’s Handcrafted Root Beer. Summer wouldn’t be complete with a few homemade root beer floats! They’re a classic!

Virgil’s Classic Root Beer Float Recipe
Virgil’s Handcrafted Root Beer (or Zero-Sugar Root Beer)
Vanilla Ice Cream
Get a nice tall glass (preferably a mighty mug!). Drop one scoop of vanilla ice cream into the bottom of the glass. Pour Virgil’s root beer over the scoop until it fills up about halfway. Drop another scoop of vanilla ice cream into the mix. Fill to the top of the glass with Virgil’s! Grab spoon and experiment with your preferred balance of ice cream and root beer in each bite.
