Last week we had a few severe storms come through our area and people were acting all crazy. Literally. I was coming home from work when one storm hit us. I pulled off to the side of the road because the rain was coming down heavy and sideways. I could barely see 2 feet in front of my car. While sitting alongside the road I saw people driving like maniacs in the horrible weather conditions. One guy did run off the roadway and into a ditch. Serves him right for driving like that. There were other people pulling off the road, winding down their windows and taking photographs of the storm and sky up above with their smartphones. Seriously! I’m sorry but I won’t risk my life or my family’s life to get photographs to slap up onto social media. People are getting crazier these days.

We have been having strange storms too but I am in a way different part of the country. Our’s are just the heat in the afternoon meeting the cool of the evening. Then next week…. here come the hurricanes in the Gulf.

  2. Jo-Ann Brightman says

People do use their phones to capture every minute, no matter how risky. Some of these storms are truly horrible. I am waiting for a new quote in the weekly review. each quote was always so interesting.
