The Scenic Cape May Harbor

Cape May Harbor in New JerseyA few weeks ago we took a trip down to Wildwood in New Jersey. Every time we go down to the Jersey Shore we try to stop by the scenic Cape May Harbor in Cape May. This is where you’ll see a slew of fishing boats, ships, sail boats, kayaks, etc. going in and out of the harbor on their way to the Atlantic Ocean or the Delaware Bay.

We started out our day down in Sunset Beach doing a little bit of shopping and then made our way to the harbor. I always enjoy sitting and watching the boats go by. There are a few marinas, a slew of docked boats and restaurants that service the harbor area. You can visit the businesses or just take a stroll.

On the day that we visited a storm had just moved through so there wasn’t a lot of action like we usually see. One thing that really caught our eye was this one fishing boat (shown above) that was heading out to sea. The boat was much larger in size than what it appears to be in the photo.  I hope they had a good day fishing!
