For this review I headed to my local Costco Wholesale Club Store to pick up two packages of The Laughing Cow Spreadable Cheese Wedges. Why two? I was asked to review one and share the other one with a loved one. I gave it to my daughter Jenelle and her family to enjoy. Her kids are heading back-to-school and I knew they would make a great after-school snack for the kids.
Each package contains 32 individually wrapped spreadable cheese wedges. Each wedge contains 0.75 oz. which is perfect for one person to enjoy. You don’t need to let it come to room temperature at all…it’s spreadable straight out of your refrigerator which I love! The variety that I selected for the review is the Creamy Light which contains 50% less fat than their original.
For the past 10 days we’ve been enjoying The Laughing Cow Spreadable Cheese Wedges with our favorite crackers which is delicious! My husband enjoys snacking on celery sticks and instead of using peanut butter, he’s been using this spreadable cheese. He said he’s never going back to PB on his celery sticks! A few days ago I toasted blueberry bagels for our breakfast and instead of using butter, I slathered on this cheese. Oh my gosh, delicious! It took our bagels to an entirely new level.
You can spread this yummy cheese on all kinds of different fruits and veggies. Try it on carrot sticks, celery sticks, cucumber slices, tomato wedges, apple wedges, etc. It’s delicious on your favorite artisan crackers, toasted bagels, toasted English muffins and on artisan breads. It’s rich, creamy and jam-packed full of flavor.
Low-Calorie Snack Idea: Slice a cucumber in 1/8″ thick slices. Use a butter knife to spread a layer of The Laughing Cow Spreadable Cheese on top of the cucumber. Slice cherry tomatoes in half and place one half on top. My family loves these grab-n-go snacks and it’s a great way to use up some of our freshly harvested cucumbers & tomatoes from our garden. My 11 year old granddaughter can whip these up for an after-school snack (see below). She did a great job!

I have eaten The Laughing Cow Spreadable cheese for many years. It is so good and useful in that it can be used in so many different ways.
I haven’t had Laughing Cow cheese in a while. They are great to take to work for a snack. Spreading on a bagel sounds delicious!
I do enjoy Laughing Cow cheeses. Haven’t had any in a while. Will check some out next time.
I have never heard of their cheese before but it sounds super good. I also like that it is 50% less fat than the original that is important to me. This would also make a nice holiday gift.
