I personally believe that you need to start young and continue caring for your skin every day as you age. That includes exfoliating, cleansing and moisturizing your skin. You also need to protect your skin with a good sunscreen or sunblock when you go outside.

Spongelle is a company that I’m very familiar with. I was first introduced to their infused body wash buffers (sponges) several years ago and have been hooked every since. I love how they exfoliate the dead skin and cleanse my body…leaving soft skin behind.

Spongelle Shimmer Collection - Shimmer Body Souffle

For this particular review I’m trying out the new Spongelle Shimmer Collection Shimmer Body Souffle in the Pearl Blossom fragrance. It contains shea butter and vitamin E to replenish and nourish the skin. It’s safe for all skin types, 100% paraben free, cruelty free , and vegan friendly.

There are 4 fragrances in the Spongelle Shimmer Collection:

Pearl Blossom – Fragrance Notes
T: lemon, grapefruit, pear M: freesia, peony, floral bouquet B: woody, musk, amber
Brilliant Tuberose – Fragrance Notes
T: cinnamon sticks, sliced ginger, sweet clove, juicy orange M: tuberose B: whipped vanilla, cozy musk
Moon Flower – Fragrance Notes
T: blackberry, pear, peach M: moon flower accord, wisteria, jasmine B: wood, musk, green
Radiant Amber – Fragrance Notes
T: citrus nuances M: vanilla orchid B: sandalwood, amber, coconut, musk

How to Use: Massage in a circular motion to moisturizer and nourish the skin.

Spongelle Shimmer Collection - Shimmer Body Souffle

After I bathe or shower I will slather on the Spongelle Shimmer Body Souffle all over my skin. I find it best to apply after bathing…while your skin is slightly moist. It absorbs quickly and leaves your skin touchably-soft.  The consistency is fantastic…a whipped, creamy souffle. There is a hint of “youthful glow” and light fragrance that is left behind. Nothing overwhelming to your senses at all. Very pleasant and soothing.

I’ve been using the Spongelle Shimmer Body Souffle every day for the past 2 weeks. My skin looks more youthful and more moisturized. I spend a lot of time in the pool which tends to dry out my skin during the summertime. In just a few short days my skin looks 100% better. My husband has even commented that my skin feels softer which is always a good thing!
