Do any of you get freaked out during bad summer thunderstorms? I don’t mind them during daylight hours but for some reason when they occur during the night they freak me out. I hate it when I hear the wind howling, the windows vibrating from thunder and the sky lit up like a Christmas tree from lightning. I hate it even more when the storm seems to last for hours instead of minutes. Our dog Nellari gets freaked out during storms too. How about you?
I remember so fascinated by the big thunderstorms with lightening that seemed to happen often on the East Coast where I grew up. After every storm though it seemed that it would be so humid and hot.
I don’t like storms at any time. The ones in the South are violent, especially during hurricane season.
