Mom’s Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe
One of my favorite fruits are peaches. I literally could eat them every day. They’re perfect as a snack, as a dessert and you can add them as an ingredient into some of your favorite bread, muffins and dessert recipes. This recipe utilizes canned peaches put I’ve made it using frozen peaches too!
When using frozen you’ll want to thaw them out in a bowl of warm water with 2 tbsp. of granulated sugar added to it. Once thawed you’ll need to measure out 24 oz. of thawed peaches with some of the sugar & water to go along with it. We like our cobbler served warm with whip cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.
Mom’s Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe
1 cup all-purpose flour
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 cup milk
2 – 16 oz. cans peach slices in syrup
1/2 cup butter, melted
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Pour melted butter into a 9″ by 9″ square baking dish. In a mixing bowl combine together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, ground cinnamon and milk. Pour into baking dish on top of the melted butter. Pour the sliced peaches and the syrup into the baking dish. Gently use a spatula to spread them evenly in the dish.
Bake in a preheated 375 degree F oven for approximately 30 to 45 minutes or until done. The top will be lightly golden brown and the cobbler will start pulling away from the sides of your baking dish.
