Last year we had a mild summer with no days reaching 100+ degrees. We have an occasional thunderstorm and average seasonal temperatures. This year its a different story. We hit 94+ degrees several times and we’ve had a lot of days that were hazy, hot and humid. The humidity is terrible in the northeast. It can get so bad that you can’t breathe correctly when you step outside.

We’ve had our dog Nellari for 13 years and the heat & humidity is bothering her a lot. It takes all the energy she can muster to go outside to do her business. She then immediately comes back in. She loves being outside lounging around in the backyard but lately it’s been too darn hot for her to enjoy.

Yes, it is hot. Our temp this week is in the high 90’s all week. The heat index with the humidity is about 110 all week. Love that AC.

In my opinion this quote is very true. I enjoyed this week and all the posts.
