Path of Life Quinoa and Kale with Garlic, Olive Oil & Sea Salt

July 28, 2020 by Shelly

Path of Life Quinoa and Kale with Garlic, Olive Oil & Sea SaltPath of Life’s heat-it and eat-it frozen quinoa, rice, and veggie blends are the epitome of simple. They stay true to their Live Simple motto by only using clean and wholesome ingredients. Currently you’ll find the products available in 11 different varieties.

* Complimentary product received for review.

We recently had the opportunity to try out the Path of Life Quinoa & Kale with Garlic, Olive Oil and Sea Salt. Each 10 oz. bag contains approximately 2 servings with 160 calories per serving. You’ll find this product in the frozen foods section at the grocery store.

Microwave: Gently massage bag to break up frozen pieces. Place unopened bag in microwave. Do not pierce bag. Cook on high for 4 minutes. Let stand in microwave for an additional minute before carefully removing. The product will be hot. Open carefully and serve.

Stove-Top: Gently massage bag to break up frozen pieces. Heat nonstick skillet over high heat for 1 minute. Add 2 tbsp. of water and product to the skillet. Stir, cover. Reduce to medium heat. Cook 6 minutes. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat and serve.

We followed the directions on the back of the packaged and prepared it in the microwave. It only took 4 minutes and it was done! You don’t thaw out this product before cooking it which saves time on those busy nights when you need something quick.

When it comes to serving it…there is a Chef’s Tip printed on the package which states you can add slivered onions or Romano Cheese. We had a freshly picked tomato from our garden which I quartered and tossed into the mix. We then sprinkled on some Parmesan Cheese. Oh my gosh, those 2 additions really added to the flavor and made this side dish a meal! If you have fresh bell pepper, broccoli, cauliflower or other garden veggies…toss them in!

You can visit Path of Life’s online website to learn more about the company and their products. You can connect & interact with the brand on Facebook and Twitter. You can use the store locator on their website to find the products near you.

I love that there is a chef’s tip printed on the package. The Path of Life brand really has distinct flavors that I would enjoy eating.

These sound good. I found a store near me that carries that line. I will be trying them soon.

This sounds good especially with the tips about adding in some fresh vegetables. I always have some broccoli or cauliflower on hand so think that would be a good addition.
