Folgers Cappuccino Mocha Chocolate Instant Coffee Beverage Mix

We do a lot of traveling and were looking for an instant coffee mix to take along with us. Often times we have access to hot water but no access to a coffee maker unless we head downstairs into the hotel/motel lobby. Sometimes I want something hot to drink as soon as I get up in the morning or while relaxing in the evening.

A few weeks ago I purchased Folgers Cappuccino Mocha Chocolate Instant Coffee Beverage Mix and gave it a try. In the past I was never really fond of instant coffee mixes. However, that has all changed now!!!

Per the package you only need to use 2 tablespoons of the mix in a cup filled with hot water (not boiling). Stir it up and enjoy. Yes, it’s that simple. Each serving contains 90 calories with 11g sugar. A 16 oz. canister will make approximately 23 servings.

They recommend 2 tablespoons per serving and that’s what I stick with. Hubby likes a little more flavor so he adds 2 1/2 tablespoons to his. If you don’t want to make coffee with it you can use it as a creamer in your regular-made coffee as a little indulgence. It’s the perfect blend of rich coffee, sweet chocolate flavor and creamy goodness.

I found another use for it too! I like to add 1 teaspoon of the instant beverage mix into my hot cocoa. I get a nice mug of hot chocolate with a little bit of a coffee & chocolate flavor added to it. In my honest opinion…it’s so good! Try it sometime!

Last week my mother was visiting and she’s a coffee snob. I got her to try it and she loved it too! She really liked that she didn’t have to add cream and sugar to it at all. That’s a win-win in her book. Yeah!
