Summer is starting to kick into full swing. We’ve been spending more time outside taking family walks, playing backyard games and spending some time in our veggie garden. My daughter has been busy teaching our almost 5 year old son how to ride a bike. Hoping the training wheels come off soon. Since we can’t run over to my parent’s house a lot (right now) we put a little kiddie pool in our backyard so the kids can splash around in that. Trying to keep them busy and active. We don’t believe in parking them in front of a TV or computer screen all day long. Kids need to be up and doing things, especially things outside & in the fresh air.
Thank you for spending part of your week reading the TCC blog. We appreciate all of our blog readers. Have a nice weekend!
We have in the Northwest what is referred to as our June Gloom. Lots of overcast skies and rain so it doesn’t quite feel like summer is on the way. My grandson is almost 5 and is also working on riding without training wheels. He is starting to get it but not quite confident enough yet.
I know it is Summer here too. Yesterday we had the first time the weather person says the conditions “Feel like 100” and believe me it did. With the 90’s and the humidity…it felt like 100. I hope there is some truth to the virus not living well in the heat. I am really ready for it to be gone. Doing my part to not spreading it…. I have not been in a store in almost 3 months. I am so glad for your blog… it is one of the bright spots of my day.
I wish that this Covid-19 scare was truly all over. The situation is better, but we still have to be so careful. I want to make the lemon bars to make my family feel better.
