June is one of my favorite months out of the year. It’s the month when most of us can be outside enjoying the pool, hiking, playing backyard games, boating, etc. before the dog-days of summer set in. The weather is typically really nice for most of the month, at least here in the northeast.
We’re trying to follow in my parent’s footsteps this year and have our garden in the ground and so far its going nicely. We’re newbies, so we didn’t plant as many items that they did. I’m pleased as punch at how its going so far and hopefully we’ll have great results throughout the gardening season.
I gave up on a garden a couple of years ago. My friend has a great garden and gives me a little of the goodies each week when we meet. I am thankful for her generosity. I hope you have continued goodness with your garden.
